It certainly lives up to its name; it’s absolutely matt, with a chalky finish that has the lowest sheen (3%) of all their paints. Great for interior walls and ceilings in low traffic areas, it’s water based, certified as Child Safe for use in children’s rooms, pet friendly, very low odour, quick drying, manufactured in the UK and low VOC. The paint’s high pigment content gives it a fabulous depth of colour, so you need fewer coats to get your perfect finish. As ever from Little Greene, the paint goes on easily and you get a good, even coverage. 40% of every tin of Absolute Matt Emulsion is now made from fully recycled ingredients. Quick tip: If you’re painting walls where there’s high traffic, like children’s bedrooms, landings  or hallways, we’d recommend you use the Intelligent Matt Emulsion, which is also low sheen (5%), but you can wash it clean with soapy water.
