Little Greene Burges Butterfly Wallpaper

Burges Butterfly, from Little Greene's fourth collaboration with National Trust, is a charming wallpaper showcasing a small floral pattern adorned with an assortment of spring flowers. Found in the Standen House, a prime representation of the Arts & Crafts movement, this design encapsulates the era's penchant for drawing inspiration from nature and stylising its forms to bring nature inside. Very little is known about this design except that the surviving piece of this wallpaper boasts a monochromatic palette of blue and white.
