Description: From Little Greene's second wallpaper collaboration with the National Trust, Beech Nut (Oxburgh Hall) c. 1782, is an authentic late Georgian design. This wallpaper was uncovered at Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk and originally used within a brightly-coloured, flocked, floral border. The leaf and nut design was block-printed in a more muted grey. It has been redrawn and recoloured whilst respecting the traditional methods and materials originally used to create it.
The six contemporary interpretations of this leafy wallpaper are without doubt more colourful, however, each uses a similarly balanced colour palette alongside the signature, crafted texture of a surface-printed paper. Beech Nut is a perfect example of a modern reimagining of a traditional design that would work across a wide range of interiors and styles.
Beech Nut is available in 6 colours; Cordoba, Summer, Delicate, Rubine, Florence and Warm Grey.
